20 Jun ESR gives back to veterans and active duty military
Getting people’s lives back on track after a fire, flood, storms or any type of unforeseen repairs is the best part of Tyler Marsten’s job as the owner of Emergency Storm Restoration (ESR).
It’s very fulfilling for us to give back. Relationship manager Angela Simms was searching for more ways the company could give back.
Surprisingly, she met LTC Mark Ochsenbein, volunteer executive director of Soldier’s Wish.
They met during a fundraiser for Soldier’s Wish at Village Inn. They formed a partnership to assist Soldier’s Wish.
When a client references Soldier’s Wish, ESR will contribute a percentage of the proceeds to the nonprofit which helps our nation’s heroes’ wishes come true.
Right now, Agenla Simms’ husband is an active duty service member. Giving back to these brave men and women makes this partnership even more significant.
“We just want our veterans to be taken care of,” she said. “They’ve given so much to us and for this country and so for us to be able to give back that little bit is just huge for us.”
We hope the community feels the same.
The mission of Soldier’s Wish is to find and meet the needs of active duty service members, veterans and their families.
